Exciting Changes at the Compound

There have been some exciting changes taking place at the Brownhills Community Colts compound, and we are really pleased to see the space starting to take shape for the benefit of our players, families and visitors.

After a big clear-out, the rubbish has been removed and the area has been given a fresh new look with astroturf, an outdoor patio set, and additional tables and benches. The aim is simple: to create a more welcoming and practical seating area for everyone using the Colts Cafe.

A Better Space for Our Colts Cafe

We want the compound to be a place where people feel comfortable stopping for a chat, catching up with other families, and enjoying something from the cafe while training and matches are taking place. Whether you are watching your child play, waiting between sessions, or just popping down to support the club, the new seating area is there for you to enjoy.

Our Colts Cafe is open on Saturday mornings with breakfast sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, sweets and chocolate available. Every purchase helps support the club, so we would love to see even more people making use of the cafe, staying a little longer, and helping us build that friendly Colts community feeling around the compound.

Making the Compound Welcoming and Practical

Grassroots football is about more than what happens on the pitch. It is about bringing people together, creating a positive environment, and giving families somewhere to feel part of the club. These improvements are another step towards making our facilities more useful, more inviting and better suited to the needs of our growing community.

Clearing, tidying, laying Astroturf, setting up furniture and improving the space all takes time and effort, and we are grateful to the volunteers who continue to give so much to Brownhills Community Colts.
